Activities for Contacts in Target Accounts
Last updated: July 3, 2025
Step 1: Create a List of Target Accounts (Company List)
Go to Contacts > Lists.
Click Create list → Company-based list.
Name it something like “Target Accounts - Active”.
Under filters, choose:
Company property →
Target Account= True (or however you mark target accounts).Optional: Add filters like
Industry,Lifecycle stage, orStatusif needed.
Click Save list.
This creates your master list of target accounts.
✅ Step 2: Create a Contact List of All People at Those Target Accounts
Go back to Lists → Click Create list → Contact-based list.
Name it something like “Contacts at Target Accounts”.
Add the following filter:
Company property →
Company is member of list→ Select the “Target Accounts - Active” list from Step 1.
Click Save list.
This gives you all contacts associated with your active target accounts.
✅ Step 3: Narrow That List Down to Only Contacts With Recent Vector Activity
From the “Contacts at Target Accounts” list, click Clone and name the new one something like “Target Account Contacts w/ Vector Activity (Last 7 Days)”.
Add an additional filter:
Contact property →
Last Vector Activity Date(or whatever field you use) → is less than 7 days ago.
Save the list.
This final list gives you everyone at target accounts who’s shown activity recently.
🔁 Alternate: Combine Steps 2 and 3 in One List
If preferred, you can skip the clone and just build one contact list with both filters:
Company is member of list → Target Accounts - Active
Last Vector Activity Date < 7 days ago
This is useful if you don’t need the in-between list from Step 2 for anything else.
📊 Optional: Build a Report (e.g., One Per Account)
If you want to report by account, you can:
Go to Reports > Custom Reports.
Choose a Custom Report Builder.
Use Company and Contact as your data sources.
Set filters to:
Company is in Target Account list
Last Vector Activity < 7 days
Add
Company Name,Contact Name,Last Vector Activity, etc., to the report.
