Overview

This guide walks you through how to create a List View in Salesforce that captures leads or contacts based on activity data coming from Vector. This allows you to easily identify and manage contacts who have engaged through the Vector platform.

Step 1: Set Up Vector to Sync with Salesforce

Before you build your list view, make sure the right data is flowing from Vector into Salesforce. Here's what to check in your Vector platform settings:

🧩 Required Settings: Field Mapping

To make it easier to filter and identify Vector-driven activity in Salesforce:

  1. Go to Field Mapping in your Vector Salesforce integration settings.

  2. Click Add Mapping.

  3. Under Custom Field > Custom Value, type in something like Vector.

  4. Choose a field in Salesforce to store this value (e.g., a custom field called Source Detail).

This value will help signal that a particular activity or lead came from Vector.

  2. Click Create New List View.

  3. Name your list something like: Vector Leads.

  4. Choose visibility: “All Leads” or “My Leads.”

  5. Add a filter based on your above mapping:
