Overview
The Vector platform integrates seamlessly with Salesforce to enrich your CRM with contact-level data, ensuring you have accurate and actionable insights on website visitors and contacts showing intent. Our integration is built with data privacy, security, and transparency in mind, ensuring that we only process the data that is essential for delivering value.
How the Integration Works
Vector’s Data Stance
Vector operates as a data enrichment platform—you bring identity data, and we provide contact data.
What You Provide to Vector:
✅ Browser Fingerprint → Identify an anonymous visitor on your website.
🚫 No Other CRM Data is Read → We do not pull any other data from Salesforce or HubSpot.
What Vector Provides in Return:
✅ Contact Data Enrichment, which can include:
First Name, Last Name
Job Title, Company Name, Company Domain
LinkedIn URL, Mobile Phone Number
Company Size, Seniority, Department, Industry
Custom Values (Segment Name, Segment ID, Last Active Timestamp, Last Active Date, Last Active Time)
🚫 We Do NOT Harvest CRM Data → We do not extract, store, or modify existing contact data in your Salesforce instance.
Why We Take This Approach:
We only collect the data needed for accurate enrichment—nothing more.
We do not pull unverified CRM data, ensuring our data is sourced with confidence.
We believe in controlling the data within our platform, rather than using customer-controlled data that could be inaccurate or unverified.
Data Vector Can Pass Back to Salesforce:
Email, First Name, Last Name
LinkedIn URL, Job Title, Company Name
Company Domain, Mobile Phone, Company Size
Seniority, Department, Industry
Custom Values (Segment Name, Segment ID, Last Active Timestamp, Last Active Date, Last Active Time)
List View Access (Read-Only)
We can access Salesforce List Views that we are given explicit read-only access to.
This enables us to see Opportunity Stage and Account Stage, providing deeper insights into account progression.
How to Set Up the Integration
Log into your Vector platform > integrations on the left > click connect under Salesforce.
Configure your settings. Note. These settings are org wide but they will not be actioned unless Salesforce is an action within a segment.
You're done!
