Connecting Slack to Vector is super quick —just a few clicks and you're done.
Head to Settings > Slack Connect.
Choose the Slack channel you want notifications to go to.
Click Allow to finish the setup. ✅
You’re officially connected!
Once Slack is connected, you can add it to any segment as an action. This tells Vector where to send alerts for that segment.
➡ When setting this up, you can:
Send notifications to a Slack channel, and optionally @mention the account owner
DM the account owner directly instead of posting in a channel
Choose what works best for your team!

Once Slack is connected, you can choose where alerts go and—on some plans—who gets notified directly.

If you’re on Plus, Growth, or Enterprise, you can go a step further by tagging the account owner directly in Slack. Here’s how to set that up:
Connect your CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce)
Add an Account List to your segment
Vector will automatically detect the owner and send the alert directly to them—or tag them in the channel

🤔 Wait? Why am I not receiving Slack notifications from my visitor feed or segments?
Ensure the following:
Slack is connected
Slack is added as an action to the Segment. This highlights where the data will be pushed to.
The Segment is active (toggle in top right corner is turned on). Active segments will push data over.
