Integrating your CRM Target Account list (either HubSpot or Salesforce) into Vector helps you focus on the contacts that matter most — the ones inside your ideal accounts. Once connected, you can use this list as a filter across your segments, unlocking smarter insights and more strategic targeting.
Go to your CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce) and create a custom Company list.
Apply any filters you need (firmographic data, deal stage, etc.).
Make sure the list is public, not private — so Vector can access it.
In your Vector dashboard, go to Integrations > CRM Settings.
Scroll to the Target Account Settings section.
You’ll see your available CRM company lists appear — select the list you want to sync.
✅ This sync only needs to happen once.
In Vector, navigate to the Target Accounts tab on the left.
Click the CRM sync button in the center of the page.
Wait 15-30 minutes for the sync to complete.
🔄 Vector will automatically refresh the list every 24 hours to reflect any changes in your CRM.
Once the list is synced, you’ll now see a new filter available in your segment builder:
Is Target Account
You can combine this filter with triggers, such as:
Intent Topics (e.g., show me contacts within accounts I care about interested in ABM)
Website Visits (e.g., people from target accounts landing on specific pages)
Ad Clicks (e.g., target account contacts engaging with campaigns)
✅ See if your ads are landing with contacts inside accounts that matter.
✅ Understand what contacts at target accounts are researching or clicking on.
✅ Build more strategic segments and account-based strategies.
✅ Know what contacts within your target accounts are doing — are you wide enough in the account? Are different contacts at different stages in their journey? Use this to tailor outreach by persona, behavior, and buying stage.
Pro tip: Many Vector customers apply the Is Target Account filter across multiple segments to unlock richer account-based marketing and sales workflows.
